Self-isolate!: Your coworker should be self-isolating at home. If s/he insists on coming to work, make sure his or her supervisor is aware and takes steps to protect others, perhaps not permitting him/her to remain at the workplace. If and when there, s/he must never be without a mask. No shared small rooms with other persons. Of course masks, distancing, and frequent hand washing for you and other coworkers.

how are adults diagnosed with adhd? do adults have the same testing to diagnose adhd as children, or is the process different?

See answer: Diagnosis of adhd/add requires a clinical interview by an experienced professional like a psychiatrist. There is also testing that can be done but diagnosis is not based on testing alone. The process is similar in children.

is it possible to do well in psychological testing and still have add?

Likely no: Within a full battery of psychological tests, the likelihood of missing the diagnosis of add even if it was there (false negative) is very low.  Usually there is a clinical interview that occurs alongside the psychological testing to correlate symptoms with the testing results.  Speak openly with your evaluator if you have questions about the results during the appointment to discuss the results.

Doubtful: The cancer cell type will determine some issues of familial risk, but the 2 most common cell types causing appendiceal cancer are not familial types

Plenty: As patient with suspected food allergy should undergo a thorough history and physical exam to confrim or refute the diagnosis of food allergy. If fa is suspected then skin testing and /or blood testing for targeted suspected foods can be done.

Varies, but safe: The battery for ADHD/ADD testing varies per clinician. However, it will usually begin with a clinical interview where the psychologist discusses your past and current functioning in various life areas, such as school and work. Then there are measures of IQ and attention/ concentration with other self-report measures where you rate your symptoms. We are not here to judge, but help.

Psychiatry consult. : I imagine each insurance company is different, however making an appointment with a psychiatrist known to be skilled in add diagnosis and treatment should be sufficient. Your insurance company should cover a visit for an initial psychiatry consultation.

No: The pain is minimal with skin testing, similar testing can be done with a blood test which requires some blood being withdrawn with a needle.

my fianc might have chlamydia.i have been faithful and had 2 children without testing positive.could it be undetected even with routine tests yearly?

Needs to be tested: Not everyone does routine testing for chlamydia.  Also, the infection can occur at any time.  See your doctor and ask to be tested.
