: Testicular torsion causes pain in the scrotum (testicular area), not the back. Abdominal pain and/or vomiting can occur with the testicular pain. If you think you have this, you should contact your doctor and be examined if the doctor thinks you may have this after asking you more questions.

: The normal testicle  can rotate 90-180 and  have some blood flow compromise. If this is happening frequently would follow up with urology as they may be able to tack the testicle down.

NO: Your normal one was fixed ( orchiopexy ) to prevent torsion. One testicle is enough for fertility, also will have  during ejaculation  same amount of semen as most of it  is  due to seminal and other glandular secretions.  Don't worry you will be fine .

This is an emergency and needs immediate urologic care to diagnose and restore the blood flow to the testicle. Surgery is required to expose the spermatic cord/testes and untwist the cord. Left untreated the testicle will infarct.
