i have a pink rough patch on the inside of my mouth on the lower part of my inner lip in front of my teeth. no bumps, have had it for 2-3 weeks.

Examination: Can't see, feel, or examine the lesion over the computer.  The fact that it has been present more than two weeks is troublesome.  Please call your Dentist for examination of referral to Oral Surgeon.

Mouth-breathing?: Is your nose often congested so that you tend to breathe through your mouth?  If so , the problem can be solved by reducing the nasal congestion by medical and/or surgical means depending on what is causing the obstruction.
Stop licking your lips and try lip balm or something like that. Good luck.

Pain: Anytime one experiences pain in their mouth, they should see a dentist to see what&#x27;s causing it. It takes time for the socket and tissues to heal and mature following the removal of teeth. Whether or not it&#x27;s normal or the cause of you discomfort would require a personal one-on-one clinical exam.

: I suspect you are oral infection with local reactive tonsils. Based on that you described, I could not tell exactly what the cause is but for sure you need antibiotic. 
You need to see another doctor or visit urgent care especially if you have underlying disease.

Unusual?: Bumps growing on teeth are quite unusual, but if it is artificial, it makes sense: a tooth-colored resin bonding agent is commonly used to hold the brackets. It is likely that you are seeing the excess bonding glued to the tooth surface. Please return to your dentist and see if it needs to be removed, as this may cause some plaque retention, or even food trap. Can you send a phone picture to dr?

Sounds : Sounds like circumvallate papillae--normal structures on the back of the tongue.  They can be hard to see since they are at about or just beyond the "horizon" of the tongue where it curves down into the throat.  People tend to notice them when they self examine for a new sore throat.  Search for images on the web and compare what you are seeing.

Dental lesion: Do you know any cause for this red bump?  spicy foods? trauma? hot liquid burn? new toothpaste?  The red bump you are talking about might be one of the larger taste buds that has become irritated that is on the back of your tongue. I would rinse with warm salt water and see if this helps.  If the bump does not show signs of healing in 2 weeks, I would go see you dentist ASAP.

Inside/outside: If it was the outside if your lip it was a prodromal sign for a gerrprtic lesion which would break out creating a pimple like sore that would eventually scab over last abot 10-14 dats.
