The bone below pink toe protrudes out ant the toe often points toward the other toes. Poor biomechanics, injury or heredity are most common causes.

Sure: The term arises from old time tailors who used to sit cross-legged to sew. The outside edge of their feet would get sore. The bump is actually the end of the 5th metatarsal behind the little toe. Initially avoid tight shoes, ice, nsaids, padding, etc. If this doesn't help, surgery is indicated. Depending on the degree of deformity either the bump is removed or the entire bone is cut and realigned.
