: Suggest seeing the physician who installed the breast implants, as he/she is best to evaluate consequences of same, but an internist or allergist could determine if this may be a reaction to the composition of the implants.

No one knows: Your problem is most regrettable & i sympathize.  It is unfortunate that surgeons have inserted mesh for a variety of abdominal & pelvic problems in a race to outmaneuver mother nature. Long term consequences are coming back to haunt them.  Unfortunately, no one can guess the answer to your question.

No: Not every patient has that reaction, but it is a common reaction to have.  I'm sorry that you're having complications.  If you haven't make sure your doctor knows about your complications.

Not cancer: Leakage of fluid from a damaged duct may induce inflammation around the area of the damage. This is a natural, normal response. It is neither cancer nor pre-cancerous.

Irritation, redness: The #1 symptom is the feeling that you have something in your eye!

that can manifest as a persistent irritation or scratching sensation. Foreign body may cause redness where the eye is usually white. Blurred vision is possible if the cornea (the clear front of the eye) is affected, but it isn't guaranteed.

Try to wash your eye with sterile eye wash (not tap water). If that fails, go see a pro.

Follw your doctor: I suppose by doctor you mean opthalmologist(eye specialist) if so follow his/her advice
