What are the symptoms of a foreign body in my eye?

Irritation, redness: The #1 symptom is the feeling that you have something in your eye! that can manifest as a persistent irritation or scratching sensation. Foreign body may cause redness where the eye is usually white. Blurred vision is possible if the cornea (the clear front of the eye) is affected, but it isn't guaranteed.
