i've recently been diagnosed with extra pulmonary tb, i am in denial as i have not been experiencing any symptoms besides stomach pains for months and occasional breathing pains under my ribs all on my right side.

may include fever, cough, feeling tired, shortness of breath, muscle aches, headache, sore throat, chills, chest pain, nasal congestion, loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated.  Wish you good health!

Pain with inhalation: The most classic symptom is rib pain (often severe) with a deep breath. If the fracture is severe the rib may float independently from the other ribs.

Muscle?: Ribs are surrounded by connective tissue, blood vessels/nerves and muscle. The muscles may shift with positional changes and I suspect this is what you are noticing (one sliding under another perhaps). Nothing to be concerned about especially if no pain.

Extra rib: You are talking about a cervical rib which occurs about 0.5% of the time in the general population. That number can be higher or lower in different groups but that is normal frequency.

Not much: The average person has twelve pair (24 total), but it is not rare to more or less, and in most cases it make no difference whatsoever. In rare cases, a rib in the rib can compress a nerve, leading to arm symptoms. At the other end (bottom of rib cage), muscles may attach to the extra rib, but neither enhance or diminish function; they are silent.

Difficulty breathing: Injured ribs can cause pain with chest expansion as the air-filled lungs and chest expand with each breadth. Treatment is usually supportive and activity is limited by tolerance to pain. Like mostfractures, ribs can take upwards of 6-8 weeks to heal.
