Can become large: Fibroid tumors can become quite large and occupy a significant amount of space in the abdominal cavity.  See your doctor if you are concerned about this.

Usually no: Uterine fibroids are extremely common and may be asymptomatic.  Surgery may be needed if fibroids cause symptoms that can be relieved only by surgery.  Unless the fibroids are causing profuse bleeding, there would not be a reason to have surgery immediately.

Not very likely: Fibroid rumors usually  arise from the muscular layer of the uterus! which doesn't extend into the tubes.

Heavy menses: Fibroids typically cause anemia by causing heavy menstrual cycles, with or without cramping. Not all fibroids cause this. Depending on the size and number of the fibroids and your future fertility plans, your doctor can help you plan what therapies are best for you.

Phytoestrogens : I think what you are referring to is phytoestrogens which are found in soy products. It appears to have some effect on tissue modulated by normal estrogen like uterus etc. I am not certain if there is any evidence that implicates phytoestrogen in uterine fibroid formation. However, excessive consumption of soy products can cause heavier menustration in some women.

: It depends on the location of the fibroid but a 4 cm subserosal fibroid can rarely cause bilateral fallopian tube blockage. Take care.

just found out i have uterine fibroids.  they are causing pain.  dr. has suggested tubes tied with ablation or hysterectomy.  your suggestion?

Reasonable choices: You don't provide nearly enough information to answer your question. There are a lot of variables, but in general fibroids are common and do not cause pain. A hysterectomy is major surgery but would more definitely solve the problem. However, if the pain is because your fibroids are causing heavier bleeding, then the ablation could be an excellent choice.

i am 43 and have had tubes tied. i have uterine fibroids and cycles are short until now. it's been 7 weeks since last period. not preg, what is cause?

Peri menopausal?: If your pregnancy test is negative( you should do one to be certain) then, at age 43 you are not ovulating on a regular basis at this point and consequently your periods will often be longer apart. Your GYN MD can make the determination if you are soon approaching menopause with some lab testing if needed and this pattern persists.

i had a myomectomy & never had any std to block tubes only big fibroids, tubes were swollen after myomectomy will swelling interfere with ttc?

Depends: If swelling of tubes are  from fibroids blocking blood flow then the swelling should reduce after surgery. If tubes are patent then you should be able to conceive. Sometimes, you may have pelvic infection in the tubes without an STD. I am sure your doctor checked the potency of your tubes 
Either way, you must be aware of increased tubal pregnancy rates if tubes are nor normal. Good Luck.

i pulled my groin when i was workin out now one of my lymph node in groin is swollen why im not sick no fever but i hav uterine fibroids is this why?

Inflammation: Pulling a muscle or other kind of injury leads to inflammation. Inflammation is part of a immune response. Immune responses happen in the lymph system. This is normal.
