i have swollen tonsils and a blister behind them and it hurts along with my ear. my tongue is yellowish with bumps. it's very red. could this be strep?

Yes: Go to your doctor or the clinic because if this is strep you need antibiotics to treat it or the infection will et worse

Possibly ...: Swollen tonsiles could be sign of infection or just immune response to various stimuli. Adenosids swells as result of allergic rhinitis, infection etc. Unless it is frequent bacerial tonsilitis or adenoids and tonsils are so large that obstruct the breathing - no reason to remove them. But ringing in ears may be associated with sever econgestion and adenoids  enlargment . Consult ENT .

Mycoplasma infection: With history of tonsillar swelling, loss of voice and now a worsening cough, it would be wise to visit your doctor. While this could be a viral infection, your symptoms are bothersome for a possible Mycoplasma infection. Additionally, it would not be improbable for this to be strep throat complicated by bronchitis--also something not to be taken lightly. Call your doctor for an appointment today.

Chronic : Chronic tonsillitis can be quite bothersome.  Failure to respond to several courses of antibiotics might be an indication to have a tonsillectomy.  You might want to se an otolaryngolist, ear nose and throat specialist, for further evaluation.

If you cannot get in to see them i would go to an urgent care center now as they have physicians that will be able to help you immediately.

Not likely: I doubt that bikini lines bumps would be related to the other symptoms you mention. Schedule a visit for an exam.
