See a physician now: There are several different types of infections that can cause your present symptoms. Thus you need to be examined and appropriately treated by your pcp or ent. If you cannot get in to see them i would go to an urgent care center now as they have physicians that will be able to help you immediately.

Swollen tonsils: And bumps (? Pus ) on the back of the throat may mean throat infection- viral or bacterial . See your doctor for this so you can start antibiotics if positive for strep.

See physician: For significantly sore throat w swollen tonsils / lymph nodes – see physician ; get a strep throat test ; culture. Antibiotics are imperative for strep throat. Try saltwater gargles. Mix tsp of salt in 8 oz of warm water – gargle w this several times/day. You can gargle w aloe vera juice a couple of times per day. A mix of chamomile tea w honey ; a small amt of lemon juice helps.
