You need to have that tooth extracted, and failure to do so now can result in the infection spreading to other parts of your body. If that happens, you may need hospitalization. Please call now.

Tooth infection: This could be a tooth infection requiring a dental radiograph, possible antibiotic, and maybe a root canal or extraction. You are having a radiating pain probably from the tooth in question. To be sure you need to see a dentist immediately to get the infection under control. Please don't wait.

An Abscess?: You appear to be describing an abscess that is related to one or more of your front teeth. Best course of action is to see a dentist and have a comprehensive exam. It is not normal: Wisdom teeth. It was a surgical procedure and is not completely risk-free. Pain, swelling and infection following surgery is usually at its worst 24 – 48 hours after surgery. After that it should subside more and more every day and after 7 days stop. Your symptoms could be a serous problem.  See your dentist or an oral surgeon for post-op appointment and treatment.

Healing wisdom area: How long ago was the tooth removed?  It could be an infection, an exposed piece of bone, a bone fragment working its way to the surface, a small piece of tooth or something else. See you dentist for a personal clinical exam and evaluation. If the tooth was removed recently, this is part of normal aftercare and the responsibility of the surgeon, although it's your responsibility to call and ask.

This means yours may be completely different. With that being said, many lumps--hard or soft--are often signs of infection. The tooth may be infected with cavity bacteria, or rotting of dead nerve if the tooth has been dead. It may suggest the root has fractured.
