Monitoring Centers: The lymphatic system absorbs and carries things too big to go into the arteries and veins like bacteria eaten by white cells and digested food. The lymph nodes "taste" the lymph to see if anything bad is there like bacteria, viruses, cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system by enlarging in response. Prolonged enlargement should be biopsied. They shrink if no problem.

Get an eval: If you have a few relatively small tender lymph nodes you might have mild subclinical allergies or have a cold coming on. However if every lymph node is swollen, or you have a very lg or hard, immobile node(s) it's best to get that checked out. You might also want to check for swollen lymph nodes elsewhere in the body. I'd suggest you get yourself checked out.

i have a pain along the left vein in my neck for 4 days now with out increase in pain. it feels similar to swollen gland and i have no other symptoms.

Neck pain: Pain in that area could be from a muscle strain, inflamed thyroid or lymph gland, or inflammation of the carotid artery. I don't think it's related to a neck vein. If the discomfort persists, get examined by your physician.

Diff possibilities: Tender is usually a good sign & if you have a few relatively small tender lymph nodes you might have mild subclinical allergies or have a cold coming on. However if you have a very lg or hard, immobile node(s) it's best to get that checked out. You might also want to check for swollen lymph nodes elsewhere in the body & if you find some, that would be another reason to get checked out.

Go to your doctor fo: A medical examination is necessary unless you have had a viral head cold or sore throat recently, which can cause the neck nodes to swell up. But if your armpit nodes are swollen and are painless then you must see a doctor soon to find out the cause. Also examine your breast for any lumps and make sure that you do not have any lump/ growth in your breast.

Dr. can check throat: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or the "flu" (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to see about antibiotics). Trouble swallowing or speaking can be an emergency situation if severe.

See a doctor: It could be anything from inflammation, residual viral infection, vascular or growth.  Please consult a neurologist and an ophthalmologist asap.  I do not understand why you did not seek medical attention for this long.

There are : There are many signs of leukemia, just because you have some signs doesnt mean you have it. There are a lot of overlapping symptoms and signs for many illnesses. Dont jump to conclusions, have an appropriate exam done by your physician. It could simply be a cold, or flu.
