This may be: completely unrelated to your other issues but is certainly something that should be brought to the attention of your health care provider. It sounds like the development of lymph node swelling or an infection. Either way it should be seen and evaluated. Make an appointment for today.

i developed upper chest swelling on one side accompanied by radiating pain on the left side of chest over last 2 days with pain getting worse over the last 24 hours. cannot roll to either side without pain if laying flat in bed. is this an emergency?

Swelling/pain: Any pain, bleeding, and/or swelling requires immediate evaluation. It may be relatively benign, but you won't know until you go find to.

Go see ur FamilyDoc: Sensitivity to touch makes me think of zoster/shingles (http://goo.gl/TaqS6s). Without that, I think of pleurisy which could due to pneumonia. Perhaps you overdid one of your upper body exercise routines (although this shouldn't usually cause pleurisy or painful breathing). Bottom line, you need to see your Family Doc for complete &amp; thorough evaluation.

Hidradinitis: The most common form of armpit swelling comes from lympn gland involvement either from an infection of nodes or metastasis from chest or arm primaries.
Another cause is hidradenitis where sweat glands in the armpit get secondarily infected and can produce marked swelling .  Here antibiotic therapy is employed.

i am suffering with hands and stomach swell. left side of chest is hurting. i am taking tropol, neurontin, flexaril, celebrex (celecoxib). what could this be?

Possible side effect: Your description of hand swelling and GI symptoms would be consistent with medication side effects or medication interactions given the number of agents you are on.  I would check with your doctor to see if this is a possibility to explain your symptoms.

But if there is cough and other  physical symptoms,one should see PCP for a good medical Examination and possible Imaging if Indicated.

The size of asia: Left chest pain for that duration is very unlikely from the heart. Most frequent from gastric reflux, ribcage pain from muscle strain, or from a  spasm in the back musculature. See a local osteopath for an evaluation.
