Hidradinitis: The most common form of armpit swelling comes from lympn gland involvement either from an infection of nodes or metastasis from chest or arm primaries. Another cause is hidradenitis where sweat glands in the armpit get secondarily infected and can produce marked swelling . Here antibiotic therapy is employed.
