i think  i swallowed a small chicken bone 1 hr ago. what should i do?

It depends...: A person who swallows a small hard object such as a piece of bone, and then continues to eat solid food without problems... need not worry. If he was able to eat foods like bread or meat afterwards, then he knows the small hard object is in his stomach. Small bones that get in the stomach just get pooped out with the regular poop... unless you are really, really unlucky. So, generally, no worries.

Impossible: to answer without visualizing your throat and esophagus. I suggest and ENT exam to visualized your throat completely.

Not particularly : This will pass through your gut &amp; exit in your poop in 3-4 days. We have plenty of experience with little kids who decide to eat rocks/bugs/twigs/etc. so the issue is not uncommon. Button batteries from hearing aids or small rare earth magnets are the things you really want to avoid ingesting.

Chicken bone: A scratch from sharp chicken bone usually heals if the bone went into your stomach an it will just pass thru the alimentary tract. See ENT if throat pain persists more than a few days

Foreign body: This is a common occurrence for people.  Fortunately, most of the time, it is a scratch in the throat that you are feeling and not the actual chicken bone. However, I would recommend that you go to a walk-in or ED, where an X-ray can be done to check for a retained bone. If this is the case, a brief surgical procedure would be necessary to remove it.
