A member asked:

Swallowed small chicken bone splinter, felt it claw down my throat about 10 days ago. i have on-off discomfort in my chest/throat. might be stuck?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes indeed: A chicken bone lodged in the wall of the esophagus can do just that -- and eventually pierce the wall to cause even more troubles. Perhaps it's time for endoscopy. I'm glad you asked.
