paratracheal lymph node grown from 0.6cmx1cm to 0.8cmx1.35cm over 2 years. no suv uptake on pet. have fatigue, could this be lung cancer? lungs clear.

Mgt.: I would suggest that you see a Pulmonary specialist or schedule a virtual consult with uploaded imaging studies and reports. 
Slow growth and  no increased uptake would be less consistent with malignancy. However other risk factors and symptoms should be considered.

Needs Biopsy: Is there a known primary cancer? If not, you will need a biopsy of one of the nodes. Your doctor may suggest a mediastinoscopy and biopsy to get a tissue specimen. There are other causes of mediastinal node enlargement such as infection and sarcoidosis  so it is important to make a definite diagnosis.

See below: If stable over 2 years, it's likely not cancerous.  It could be just an enlarged node with nothing to worry about.  It could be something like sarcoid.  In the grand scheme of things, this isn't a terribly large node by the measurements you listed.  It's difficult to say with out seeing the images and knowing your history though.  Hope this helps.

Biopsy: I think you ment fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC). This is procedure that is done to check if an enlarged lymph node is cancer or not. Not all paratracheal lymph nodes or masses are cancers but we always need to do biopsy first to make sure what is the diagnosis.

Lymph nodes: It is normal to have small lymph nodes  in these locations.  Talk to your doctor about their relevance in your particular case, but it is likely that they are no cause for concern.

: Previously seen lymph nodes in the chest, once inflamed are now cold and unchanged. Typically seen after infectious and non infectious conditions affecting the lungs, it reflects no current condition, rather chronic changes following insult that happened in the past.

Malignancy: highly unlikely with 2 years of stability.  11mm is only marginally enlarged, if it otherwise looks normal,  probably just an outlier under the normal distribution curve.

The location.: "Pretracheal" means the lymph nodes are located just in front of the trachea, "paratracheal" means they are located alongside the trachea.

If it has: been stable for 2 years, in all likelihood it is not cancerous and of no significance.  Cancers grow, and your lymph node hasn't.

It could be from an: Infection (pneumonia)inflammation (sarcoidosis ), granulomatous disease (TB) or tumor. Follow up with your dr.
