Preg. blood sugars: If you are not a diabetic then your fasting blood sugars should be less than 126. Pregnancy can stress your body to cause blood sugars to rise.

No necessarily: Normal blood sugar levels in pregnancy are 60-120 depending on the time of the measurement.  Medicines to treat diabetes or gest. Diabetes can cause lower blood sugar levels.  There are some women in pregnancy that will develop reactive hypoglycemia and will have low blood sugars an hour or so after a meal.  Very low persistant blood sugar levels, not associated to above should be evaluated by md.

Natural is best: Natural sugars are best, so small amounts should be ok, stay active, exercise regularly. This will hopefully counteract any potential downside to eating sweets

Probably not: Pregnancy tends to increase Insulin resistance, so if anything, sugars tend to run higher.  You should definitely consult with your pcp or ob/gyn if you find your blood sugars running different from normal so that your medications can be adjusted.

Elevated blood sugar: Isolated elevated blood sugars will not cause a miscarriage, but do cause issues for developing babies if they continue to be  unregulated. You need close follow up during pregnancy if you are diabetic to address your health as well as the health of your child.

Blood sugars: Those last few weeks of pregnancy are important  - not that pregnancy from day 1 isn't - and you must work carefully with your diabetes doctor and the obstetrician. Most women with diabetes, when taken care of, do very well with pregnancy. Best of luck and don't worry too much - just enjoy your new baby.

Fetal development: Truth to say, we don't really know what effects the development of the corpus callosum in the fetus. We do know that about 10% of adults do not have a corpus callosum and are essentially normal. Partial absence of the corpus callosum is abnormal and associated with mental retardation.

Urine sugar: If you have sugar (S) in your urine (U), you need to be assessed for diabetes (D). S is never normally found in your U. See a physician and get some blood work to see if you have D. Do so as soon as possible.

i need to take amoxilin for 5 days but i'm on bcp i'm on sugar pill atm and started my period today 3 sugar pills left when will i be safefrom pregnan?

BCP: Continue your birth control pills and you should be fine. Amoxicillin will not be likely to interfere with your birth control.
