No: Unless there is an underlying case of macrocephaly from hydrocephalus the "standard" autistic child has a smiler size head to anyone else.

Varies: The adult system is complex, with fully developed neuron connections that may respond poorly to head trauma. The infant or child, with a developing but simple set of connections, is more tolerant to some similar jarring events.The kid is also more likely to lay down and stay put after trauma, allowing them to reorient and not aggravate the issue, while the adult may try to ignore it &amp; get worse

No: Head lice are a human only problem. There are no animal  or insect species as carriers.

: Microcephaly is defined as a head size greater than 3 standard deviations smaller than the norm for age &amp; ethnicity &amp; implies diminished intelligence. Having a smaller head with normal intelligence is unlikely to ever be considered true microcephaly. Given children have genetic input from the other parent, I would not assume their outcome is identical.

Lice be gone!: Don't share combs, brushes, or hats, and try to make sure your charges do not share these things either! use your own towels as well. If you suspect a child has head lice, don't ignore it.

It : It is possible but unlikely, that the head injury has anything to do with infertility.  The best test is for him to check his sperm count.  This really shouldn't be very expensive but would answer a lot of your questions.  Best wishes.

hello, i work in a nursery (daycare) and one of the children has head lice and it has been spread to a coworker and i. can a head lice shampoo alone treat lice, or do we still need to use the specific lice combs? thank you!:?

: It's important to also use the comb (either the ones specific for lice or another fine-tooth comb) to get all the nits (eggs) (and dead lice) out. Otherwise you run the risk of having the eggs still being there, hatching, and starting the process over. You should check again in 7-14 days and may need to re-treat if you see more live lice.

Why not?? : Depends upon the age of the child. Until age 8 or 9, they lack the dexterity to safely and effectively clean their own teeth--so we must rely on the parents. Unfortunately, oftentimes, they aren&#x27;t all that helpful either! I have used floss followed by a sonicare to clean my son&#x27;s teeth every night since he was 3 years old--before that we did it manually. He has no dental issues related to disease.

: I think I answered one of your questions last week about this finding. A lipoma of 1cm is not easy to recognize so your child's lesion is more like a cyst. Whatever it is you have nothing to worry, just let the doctor aware in the next visit for a definite answer. Take care.

No Worries: The radiation from 1 head ct does not measurably increase your risk of cancer in the future.

The radiation was no where near your testicles, and even if it was, there is no measurable risk for birth defects in children.

Finally, the contrast was eliminated from your body within 24 hours, assuming no kidney problems.
