Microcephaly is defined as a head size greater than 3 standard deviations smaller than the norm for age & ethnicity & implies diminished intelligence. Having a smaller head with normal intelligence is unlikely to ever be considered true microcephaly. Given children have genetic input from the other parent, I would not assume their outcome is identical.

I agree with Dr. Ferguson; there are many people with "small" heads that are normal and don't look any different from anyone else. I suspect you are one of these. Microcephaly is a severe deformity and there isn't much room in the tiny skull for brain. We would expect your children to be as clever as you are and maybe more. Best wishes.
