Common problem.: I assume you are on antibiotics.  If not you need to be.  Small amounts of blood in the mucus are common with infections of the nose and throat.  IF you have a lot of bleeding or you still have fever after 72 hours, can't swallow liquids, shortness of breath etc. call doc right away or get seen again. This should clear up as you recover.

Not related: You are more likely to have an allergic rhinitis or sinus infection.  Recheck with your primary care physician.

ive had a sore throat for 7 weeks. 4 weeks ago i had white spots on my tonsils. i also have had green mucus. its not strep throat. this happened immediately after i kissed someone new. a dr. on here said mono but i thought mono took months to show?

Can be tested: While it is true mono will take months to show, your "immediate" label is confusing. It would suggest an allergic response rather than a disease which would take a day or more at least. For it to last this long suggests you now have mono. The condition can be confirmed by blood tests.

Inflammation: Sxs of strep throat can include: pain of throat; large, red tonsils w white exudates; small red dots on roof of mouth; swollen lymph nodes on neck; fever, headache, rash, difficulty swallowing, fatigue or rash. Complications :infection of middle ear, sinuses, tonsils, skin, blood as well as scarlet fever, inflammation of kidney (glomerulonephritis) ; eventually rheumatic fever.

Strep throat: Can be diagnosed with a throat swab, 'strep test', although many symptoms of sore throat can be due to viral pharyngitis.  Salt water gargles and painkillers, unless contraindicated, would be helpful, if no improvement see your doctor for assessment and treatment plan, good luck

Not unusual: Some individuals get marked inflammation from strep throat, and with cough, fragile blood vessels could rupture and cause bleeding.  This should resolve with treatment.  Be sure to complete your full course of medication, as the strep infection tends to flare if only partially treated.
