Get checked.: it is not unusual for someone in their 20s to be able to palpate a pulse in the abdomen, particularly if they are thin. It would be extremely rare for someone in their 20s to have abdominal aortic aneurysm. If after an examination your doctor feels it is necessary to check, an abdominal ultrasound can differentiate the two. Good luck.

Probably nothing : Very thin patients can often feel their aorta and become concerned that it represents an aneurysm. At 30 an aortic aneurysm would be really unlikely unless you had a connective tissue disorder like marfan's or ehlers-danlos syndromes.

Are you thin?: Hi. You are NOT seeing your stomach pulse. That's your aorta. And at age 20, it's not a AAA unless you have Marfan's or syphilis (which i HIGHLY suspect you do not). I suspect you are what we refer to in medicine as "the worried well". Good luck!

You are most likely: feeling the normal transmitted expansion of your aorta with each heart beat. Transmitted pulse. If you are very concerned then you should see a health care provider so that you can be examined and reassured. If that doesn't relieve your anxiety then ask for an abdominal ultrasound to confirm that everything is normal.

Normal likely: To a degree.
The aorta pulses regularly, so in a thin, or low fat person the pulse transmits to abdominal wall.
But you should be examined and have blood pressure taken to be sure that is the issue.
Aneurysms are rare in young people but can happen.

Rare...: It is extremely rare for a person in your age group to have AAA, unless you suffer of an ongoing cardiovascular condition which would be most likely congenital( before even born). Acid reflux, which is not life threatening , is most likely to happen depending on your symptoms. If you have not been examined do so with your regular doctor so you can get answer for all your concerns.

Pulsations in: abdomen is probably not related to GERD.  At your age, abdominal aortic aneurysm are extremely rare, unless you have an inherited genetic problem.  It could be related to hypertension, so have your doctor check your heart and blood pressure.

Certainly, but...: Often, when we are diagnosed with one ailment, it changes how we perceive our body's natural state.  Depending on your body habitus, you may have always had a palpable pulse in your abdomen.  You may not have noticed it before you got a bit focused on your recent diagnosis.

An examination by a doctor and some simple imaging tests would be the best way to rule out an abdominal aortic aneurysm.

if when i lay down on my stomach my pulse oximeter consistently stays at 92  but i have access to supplemental oxygen should i be connected to the supplemental oxygen?

when i am standing my oxygen dips to 88/89

Low O2 sat: You don't mention whether you have chronic pulmonary disease. If you do most clinicians prefer you to have O2 saturation in the low 90's but I would be guided by your physicians instructions.  This is especially important in determining oxygen therapy flow levels or adjusting them higher or lower.

See a doctor.: You should get checked out asap. Sometimes an enlargement in the abdominal aorta, which is the large blood vessel that carries blood to your lower extremities, could cause a pulsatile sensation which can be audible w/ a stethoscope.
