Rare...: It is extremely rare for a person in your age group to have AAA, unless you suffer of an ongoing cardiovascular condition which would be most likely congenital( before even born). Acid reflux, which is not life threatening , is most likely to happen depending on your symptoms. If you have not been examined do so with your regular doctor so you can get answer for all your concerns.

There is also a genetic component. First degree relatives and siblings of a patient with AA have a significantly increased risk of having the development of an AA.
