These contents are often acidic ; sour and may result, in addition to heartburn,  the sensation of gagging in some patients. Many times h.H. Can be treated with diet ; medications. Severe cases may require surgery. See  physician for evaluation.

Weaknerss: A weakness or hole develops in the fibers that hold a person together. Most common hernias are in the groin or umbilical region. The hole or weakness allows internal structures or fatty tissues to protrude outward, and a bulge may become visible and discomfort may occur at the hernia site.

If it is cured: As long as the hernia is surgically corrected and cured, there is no reason you can not join the army.Get it treated, it is a minor operation and you can join military.

Varies: If its a large defect, it's mostly an unsightly bulge and a loss of strength. If the defect is smaller, risks include incarceration or strangulation of bowel loops.

Not familiar: With the term "floating" hernia. Size is not as important as symptoms of pain with nausea or vomiting or lack of bowel movement. Sometimes a larger size can be more difficult to repair. Sometimes a ct scan can evaluate the hernia for concerns. Notify your surgeon of any changes ir concerns.

when i wake up in the morning i stretch but when i stretch i flex my stomach. is flexing the stomach bad for hiatle hernia?

: NO.  Unless you are flexing by doing sit ups perhaps or doing weight lifting. Need more info.
