when should i go to the dr? i suspect tick bite (red itchy rash al over, headache, sore and stiff neck, aching joints, tired and bite mark on my leg)

could a tick bite develop  a hematoma instead of a rash? got bitten in cuba by some insect and got an egg sized  hematoma. doctor didn't think it could. but 3 weeks exhausted and now neck stiffness!

It could be: Almost all insects bite leave a small cysts like pimple but often ticks leave the head in the lesion. You can be tested but only by reputable labs.

No: You get strep throat from exposure to the germ in saliva or contaminants on your fingers.Kiss someone, share a drink, touch a door handle they contaminated and you have your strep.The tic bite can transmit a variety of germs into your blood ot tissue, but it won't give you strep throat.

It is possible: The most common tick bite disease, lyme disease, can cause a sore throat but it is commonly known for its "target" lesion.  Oropharyngeal tularemia is another possibility.  The bottom line is that if you live in a tick infected area and you have a sore throat, you should see your doctor, urgent care, or the er immediately.  Tick bites are very treatable especially early on in the infection.

my son started experiencing some lower back pain,a migraine,mild fever and a pain on the left side of the throat. we were recently in the bush (last week)...could this be tick bite fever perhaps its day 3, should i be concerned?

Infection: The presence of the sore throat amongst the other symptoms favors a viral upper respiratory tract infection. A head cold and/or mild cough may ensue. Treatment at this time is rest, intake of adequate fluids, gargling with warm salt water, lozenges and Tylenol. If no gradual improvement,appearance of rash or worsening of symptoms, an examination by a physician is warranted.

i have ringing ears general weakness , sweat but no fever, mildly sore throat. similar to tick bite fever but no fever. was tested for riketsia - negative.

Second Look: Since you already had rickettsial test, I presume you have evaluation without any clear answers. Depending on location consider an Infectious Disease, (ID) Specialist. You did not mention throat culture or strep test or blood count. These would likely have been done. Sometimes polymerase chain reaction (PCR)  might be helpful. On the other hand ringing in ears and sweating can come with depression
