Yes, somewhat: Most healthy, normal women don't have spotting during the month. They bleed during their periods, and don't bleed in between periods. Frequent spotting should be evaluated by an ob-gyn doctor. It may be due to menstrual irregularities, but other conditions such as infections and cancers can also cause bleeding as a symptom.

One explanation for spotting in the 3rd week of a pregnancy is that the embryo is implanting in the uterus and the burrowing causes some spotting. Other brown or red discharge could just be due to the increased uterine vascular development that occurs when growing the placenta. All of this is normal.

Several options.: Is she on birth control pills or the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud?  If so, this is normal.  If she is not taking any type of birth control, it suggests her hormones may be out of balance and she may simply have a thin uterine lining.  She should bring this up with her doc.

Several things: This can be several things. Post-coital bleeding or bleeding after intercourse can be a symptom of an infection of the uterus, cervix, or vagina but it can also be a symptom of cervical cancer. You don't mention your age or medical history but I would strongly advise you to get to a doctor and get this checked out.

May need pill change: the pill should regulate your periods so you don't have breakthrough bleeding. If you take the pill on time everyday, you shouldn't have spotting. If this continues. You should be examined and make sure you don't have an infection or may need to change pills. There are so many pills to chose from, you can find one that works well for you

There : There are several different problems that could cause your symptoms.  Sometimes patients will have a persistent hymen, the membrane at the vaginal entrance.  Even though you can have sex, the persistent hymen will cause pain.  This can be medically treated.  It is important that you have had negative pap smears also so please be sure that your doctor did a pap.  Since your doctor noted discharge and inflammation, please be sure that she tested you for infection also.  Your symptoms are not normal so please seek out medical evaluation again and let your doctor know your concerns.
