Yes and no: Exercise all areas of body, it will maintain you healthier, the scoliosis angle would not change much with exercise.

Spinous process: If you can feel the spinous processes slightly zig-zag, and there is no pain associated with that, you probably are anatomically built that way; sometimes our bones form slightly differently from one-to-another due to traction of muscles or other forces, and maybe you have alittle scoliosis even. Most of the time this is all benign, and needs no treatment. If there is pain, go see your doctor!

Study: I am a proponent of following up with the doctor who ordered your study to get an interpretation.  My reasoning is one, they know why it was ordered, they know your clinical story and two they both have access to the radiologist who read it to discuss it and that little thing at the bottom of the report which says clinical impression.

Unusual: Its an unusual defect ...means that the top portions of the vertebrae are connected.. not of any concern unless interferes with motion (flexion/extension)

Not worrisome: probably not a worry unless its below lamina and may start to compress the collection of nerve rootlets below it over time - sounds like you had a trauma in the past, there was a small fracture of the spinous process (which in and of itself might be painful for a few weeks but likely will heal and come to nothing)  and now the healing is leading to some bone formation in the vicinity

i fell and hit my spinous process and surrounding muscles on the corner of a cupboard handle. initial pain 6/10. no obvious bruising yet however it feels bruised. how long will my pain last? what could i have done?

Contision: The pain may last for 4-6 weeks. Treat it symptomatically with cold then warm packs. A medication such as Advil used briefly over 5 days may help. There are also topical anti inflammatories. If you are unable to walk or loose control of your bowel or bladder be seen. Most physicians do not like to image that area due to radiation to your pelvis. All the best.

Calcium: The term heterotopic ossification (HO) describes bone formation at an abnormal anatomical site, usually in soft tissue. Other than surgically removing the tissue very conservative care is the typical approach. If pain is an issue then you may have to see a specialist.

Not with word limit: I will try. 
I can tell you that most of what you reported is not a big consequence.  The reversal can be seen with a stiff neck. Ca++ posterior to C5 is likely calcific tendinitis. 1mm retrolithesis is too small to worry about. Spondylitic changes are part of aging and degenerative process in the spine and is very common.

for the vertiflex procedure i read spacer can move,bone may settle around implant & the spinous process can fracture when the ipd spacer is implanted.this is suppose to be less invasive than laminectomy but sounds worrisome?

: I would only have this procedure performed by a clinic or group with a lot of experience in selecting patients who are good candidates for it and a great track record in doing the procedure.
