Yes: Briefly, the normal curve in your neck is "straightened" out, sometimes indicating spasm; the other findings mentioned are likely degenerative (chronic). For acute neck pain, X-rays are not very sensative, you may need an MRI if a more specific diagnosis needs to be made.
