if i were to yawn, hiccup or burp my right ear will twitch and have a flutter sensation for several hours intermittently. what is this all about. it isnt a heart beat sound, it feels like a muscle spasm? is this serious?

Eustachian tube: Your Eustachian tube drains the middle ear fluid into the back of your throat. Sometimes there are pressure changes and you can get a sound like that from the Eustachian tube opening up if it has been blocked temporarily. It is nothing to be concerned about.

: Contact your ENT specialist for an exam and treatment. You may have a blockage of canal and or ear wax that needs to be removed.

Eustachian tube: This could be eustachian tube dysfunction. The eustachian tube connects the inner ear to the through and provider pressure equalization on both side of the ear drum. It can get "clogged off" for several reasons such as a cold or allergies. Many times it will resolve on its own. A common treatment for allergies such as zyrtec or claritin (loratadine) may help as well. If it persists, you should see a physician.

today my left ear has became numb and muffled, and hurts especially when i yawn or burp. what do you think that is?

Eustachian tube: Sounds like the tube between your inner ear and your throat is blocked, and you may have fluid built up behind the ear drum.  If you have a fever, chills and symptoms of infection, please go see your doctor. In the meantime if you are able to take decongestants like tylenol (acetaminophen) sinus, please do, unless you have high blood pressure or heart disease.  See your doctor.

my ears wont pop if hold noise blow.   my ears only pop yawning or swallowing burping  . will ear popper help at all?

Not unless you: want to blow out your eardrum. I suggest following the following protocol:
If not hypertyensive use a 12 hr. nasal spray ( Afrin, Dristan or generic ) 2 sprays/nostril AM?PM for 2-3 days max, then STOP.
Next use nasal saline spray every 2-3 hrs followed by using a nasal cortisone ( Flonase, NasaCort ) - 2 sprays/nostril/daily.
You can use an antihistamine ( Clritin or Zyrtec ) once daily .

my ears pop whenever i burp or yawn. i also just got back from florida so, alot 
of swimming and plane rides... don't know if that has anything to do.

You have: eustachian tube dysfunction,which explains the ears popping. It probably has to do withe plane ride. Your eustachiaan tubes are clogged and pop open when you burp or yawn. Chewing gum may help open them. An oral decongestant may help,like sudafed.

: The fluttering sound is air moving from your throat into the middle ear past a mild blockage of the eustachian tube. This blockage often accompanies URI's or allergies. I don't consider it odd or any reason to go about your life as you would otherwise.

Ear: You may have pushed wax up against your eardrum or injured the eardrum. Keep it dry when showering with earplugs but you should see an ENT asap to check it out

i had the flu for a few days and now my ear feels blocked and hurts when i yawn or burp, would a trip to the sauna do it any bad?

Won't hurt: this will resolve as you recover from your flu. A trip to the sauna will not likely to hurt anything though. Go for it. Good luck.
