Without further : Additional injury, the burn should resolve in 10-14 days since the accident, probably another week for you. Sorry, no miracle treatments are available to speed that healing process. Avoid spicy foods and use bland toothpaste. Ask your dentist about a prescription rinse that can help soothe the area while it heals. Good luck!

Watch it everyday: Mouth sores are ubiquitous--they happen to everyone.  Most are simple and benign, some are dangerous.

Keep an eye on it for several days.  Is it getting better?  If not, call a dentist--this is the reason we entered our profession--to help people and restore health. 

Home remedies are difficult to recommend.  Because, for example, food burns heal themselves, as do cold sores.

Herpes virus: The sore on your palate is probably a herpes viral infection.  These ulcers normally last 10-14 days. They can be painful and cause other referred pain. This infection is an opportunistic type from a trigger or weakened immune system. Therefore go to see your md to determine the cause of long term lymph node swelling.

the front of neck itchy and painful,inside of throat in back really red and inflamed,have a sore on roof of mouth.should i be concerned?could this be a cold or something much worse like throat cancer? no fever and otherwise ok?

: You should have this evaluated-it certainly could be a benign process, like an infection, but the only way to know for sure is to have it evaluated. Red soreness : There are a dozen reasons for your symptoms and only a dr can diagnose that with his own eyes!  is it possible you burned your mouth with hot pizza,  etc?  You could rinse and gargle with regular 3% hydrogen peroxide until you can get in to see the dr.
