Many options: First, find out what's causing the cushing's syndrome. If it's due to overuse of steroids, cut down on the dose. If it's due to a tumor, surgery is the best treatment.Tumor in the pituitary can be removed by neurosurgeons, tumors in the adrenal, pancreas, lung can be removed by surgeons. Radiation therapy is used if surgery is not complete. Last but not least, medications can be used.

R u on max meds?: If you are on a maximal medical program such as nitrates , beta blockers and anti platelets and your already on the newer agent Ranexa (ranolazine) then eecp is a nice option . If no other revascularization options are available such as angioplasty or bypass then( if a candidate qualifies) then transplant may be an option for refractory angina.

Many Options: I assume you are talking about a superficial phlebitis of the legs. The best option is to wear graduated compression stockings, take and anti-inflammatory medication daily and use moist heat to the area. I do a lot of vein care and at times will start the patient on Prednisone and at times drain the clotted blood from the vein to speed up the healing process.
