Chest wall injury: most of these symptoms are related to chronic cough rather than short of breath itself. cough can be vigorous to the point the patient may have rib fracture, air leak ( pneumothorax) , and hemoptysis as well. in general those are rare events , the majority of chronic bronchitis patients do have chest wall pain related to over use of accessory muscles or chronic cough,  get a chest x ray.

Everyone is: different but setting target date to stop and then stopping completely on that day can be effective.  Learning some self-hypnosis can support this plan of action.  Chewing gum or eating mints is useful, especially at high risk times like coffee breaks. Not smoking can make things better but you need to see doctor. Better off w/out e-cigs.  Peace &amp; health.

Stopping is best: You nasal passages and throat and lungs have had years of serious toxicity from tobacco smoke,  they have adapted to this nightmare you are putting them through.  You stopped and they had to re-adjust and there will be changes.  Be patient because the good to come will far outweigh any temporary adjustment.  Get off the cigarettes and stay off.

Can call the doctor: Prescribing doctor can examine again. That said, a person can be dependent on marijuana. Drug dependence is the body's physical need, or addiction, to a particular substance, in order for the person to feel like she is functioning normally. Over time, drug dependence may lead to harm in the user's brain and body, to behavior problems, and to association with people who also use substances, etc...

Here are few possibl: This is unlikely to be anything like cancer. So i would not worry or get anxious about it.
You can either get a medical check up and have your doctor check you. A chest x-ray would assure that your lungs are ok. But i would only do this if the pain persists for &gt;3/4 weeks or if it gets worse on breathing or on coughing.
You can easily watch it for 1-2 more weeks and see if tylenol (acetaminophen)  can stop it.

Sinus infection: The problem may be chronic sinusitis.  Saline irrigation with a neil med sinurinse bottle might do a better job of clearing any debris.  A good exam by an ent, including a nasal endoscopy would best examine for the origin of bad breath.  Sometimes your breath isn't as bad as you imagine, also.

Yes: Yes, both short term and long term use can do this.  Especially if you have asthma or COPD (emphysema).  Just don't do it if you get short of breath when you do it.  Chronically, (no pun intended) it can cause other problems as well.

Yes: For some people this is more or less noticeable, but it is very common. It may be your bodies way of telling you not to smoke. Since breathing is necessary for life - you might want to listen. Since proper breathing is the best way to manage your mind-body-soul connection - you'd be wise too. Also, if other things also affect your breathing, have a doctor check it out with you.
