Also sleep apnea: You may be experiencing the symptoms of nocturnal seizures which are not well enough controlled.  Also, be sure you don't have obstructive sleep apnea, which can cause gasping for air, nighttime awakening and headaches upon awakening.  It shouldn't cause the tingling sensation though so be sure your seizures are well controlled.

Sleep terrors: Yes, sleep terrors can be effectively treated with a combination of psychotherapy/environmental sleep modification and usually a low dose of clonazepam.  There are other options if that doesn't work ... But best to talk to your doctor to see what's best for you.  Hope that helps!

will obstructive sleep apnea stop me from going on my vacation?

No: You just have to take your sleep apnea machine with you on your trip. You should be able to pack it in your checked baggage without difficulty but a note from your doctor stating that the equipment is medically necessary may help get you through airport security.

Considerations: Would be reluctant to diagnose nocturnal seizures based upon your description, as a sleep disorder would be more likely, such as sleep apnea, but also nocturnal bruxism.  Would start with an overnight sleep study, and proceed based on outcomes.  Should be an easy benign answer, and perhaps a night splint would solve the issues.

Your : Your symptoms are consistent with sleep apnea, probably related to being so overweight (>200 pounds).  This condition puts more stress on your heart, raises your blood pressure, and can even result in a heart attack or stroke.  Please see your physician for further evaluation.  Your evaluation will probably include a sleep study.  Be careful.  This is a very dangerous condition.

Hello. : Hello. Obviously if you have to urinate every hour, you won't get quality sleep. You need to be evaluated. Causes of needing to urinate could be an infection or enlargement of your prostate. If you are thirsty, drinking often and urinating often - this can be consistent with diabetes. You need a comprehensive evaluation. I think until the source of symptoms is identified and treated, this is likely to become a vicious cycle.
