Considerations: Would be reluctant to diagnose nocturnal seizures based upon your description, as a sleep disorder would be more likely, such as sleep apnea, but also nocturnal bruxism. Would start with an overnight sleep study, and proceed based on outcomes. Should be an easy benign answer, and perhaps a night splint would solve the issues.
