had a surgery to remove one testicle as it had died and got an infection from torsion and the stitches have black bits on them not on the skin just on where the cut was also its crusty aswell it looked like this the entire time and is this normal?

: The “black bits” on the sutures may be some dried blood or even small scabs. Call your surgeon if you have a fever, pain in the area is worsening, increased swelling or bleeding. Hopefully, you have a post-op visit coming up soon but if you have concerns, call your surgeon. Best of luck to you!!

: Go to your Doctor’s office. They’ll be happy to explain what you are seeing. If the area becomes warmer, tender or you see any drainage, you need to go to the Doc. If it’s dusky or gray it’s an emergency. Be sure to be taking your antibiotics and instructions given.

Blood: This is probably blood which is being digested. If there is no sign of infection or swelling it is part of healing process.

Would avoid: combing or brushing directly over the area with sutures.

Wound care: Typically wait 24 to 48 hours after suture placement before gentle washing with warm water and mild soap. Okay to hairdryer the sutures after washing. Okay to call the clinic or doc who placed sutures for follow up visit and advice on your wound.

my skin is growing over my stitches, they are prolene(non dissolving). should i be worried?

Not really.: It's common for skin to grow over sutures. It may make them a little more difficult to remove, and the area may have to be numbed up a bit in order to remove them, but it's nothing to be concerned about. You may wish to call your surgeon and ask if he/she wants to take the sutures out a bit sooner than planned.

any procedure for removing healed skin grown over your stitches due to it being left for too long?

Keloid?: If the stitches are still in place they must be removed. If the skin is a thick scar this is called keloid formation and is not so easily fixed. A dermatologist or plastic surgeon may be able to offer injections of different treatments into the scar. Surgical excision of the scar may result in an even larger scar.

i have dissolvable stitches in my head, i am wondering how i'd know when those stitches have dissolves?

Not important : It is not important when the sutures dissolve

can you use liquid bandage products on a 1/2 -1 inch cut on the top of the head?  or are stitches required?

Depends: whether or not you need stitches really depends on the depth of the wound. I would have a trained medical professional examine the wound and determine if stitches are necessary.
