If the wound was sutured closed, it may reopen (dehisce), and then drain fluid and possible get infected.  If the wound was already open, there would be simply local effects related to the extent of the trauma.

Sedation with Versed: No worries. Tell your anesthesiologist your concern . With a little sedation with midas and fentanyl you will have little or no memory of the event and minimal pain. Good luck.

Wrist Pain: May represent a wrist ligament injury, ganglion cyst, or tendon insertion injury by your description.  If not improved after 10 months i would have evaluated by musculoskeletal or hand specialist.

Have it examined: Lots of things cause cysts. A true sebaceous cyst usually needs excision. Have it examined. Warm compresses help every 2-4 hours. Sitz baths (fill tub with warm water and soak) will help. Skin trauma is different. Can be caused by sex, tampons or infection. If its from sex, use a lubricant during intercourse to keep from drying out. But, really, get it looked at.

Blood blister: If there was no fluid or other substances it wasn't a cyst. Blood blisters tend to harden up rather than turn into cysts which are fluid filled or contain substances like cheesy material.

: You can apply cold compress 2-3 times a day for a couple days. If the site gets swollen, hot and tender, superinfection may occur then you have to see your doctor. Otherwise, you should be fine and sometimes trauma makes the cyst disappear, especially if you have a ganglion cyst on the wrist.

Conservative, repeat: Generally any "bone bruise" is treated conservatively unless there are signs that the bone has become unstable. Subchondral cysts (SCs) are indicative of arthritis, not a single traumatic event. Usually, SCs are left alone, but in some cases treated with NSAIDs like Naproxen (talk to your doctor b4 starting any medication). Lower-impact exercises (to hip / back) may help as well. No MRI; X-ray 2Y.

i'm 38 & during a ct scan for a gyno issue, it showed a cyst on my spleen w/ peripheral calcification. they insisted it's probably from trauma & to ignore but i've never had any accidents or trauma to the area ever. what else could cause this?

: Many medical conditions like parasitic infection- TB, histoplasmosis etc can also cause it besides trauma- if no trauma than the other causes can be investigated
