Maybe: As long as the toe is not deformed and you can put your shoes on and be comfortable there is nothing wrong with wearing your shoes.

Possible corn: You may have a corn, bursitis or a hammertoe. Try wearing a wider shoe. If that does not help consult a podiatrist for an evualatiom.

Avoid pressure to it: This is very common. The little toe is rubbing the side/end of the shoe and becomes sore. There can be a callous or corn and sometimes a pad will help. Sometimes there is a underlying bone spur to the area and surgery can remove it. Sometimes just changing the shoe choice will resolve the problem. If the pad and shoe choice do not help see a podiatrist.

Possibly fascitis: See a doctor or podiatrist for definitive diagnosis. It make be an inflammation of the fascia, or possibly trauma or a bunion or a neuroma or small fracture.

i sprained my little toe/foot 3 weeks ago. still is giving me problems. wearing shoes is extremely painful yet, i was given a shoe boot to wear, no break x-ray was normal i got my toe caught under the foot of an elliptical and tripped. what can i do?

Sprained toe ?'s: Any "sprain" of a joint, even in a toe will take weeks to completely heal, and any strenuous activity may aggravate the sprain and extend the time of healing, remaining uncomfortable.  Ask your physician about taking ibuprofen or a similar non-narcotic medication.

Tight shoes: It sounds like your shoes may be too narrow and therefore tight on your foot.  Try changing shoes.

Yes (kinda): If your concern is pain, many of the over the counter products help. However, they do not correct the diformity- it would be the equivalent of using corrective lenses, they only help while they are in use but don't solve the underlying issues.  
These types of pathologies seldom resolve themselves without surgical intervention, but splinting may offer enough relief to get you through the day.

You need to wear shoes that don't rub on the toe and need to see a podiatrist to treat the underlying problem.

continuing issues with broken little toe. i broke my little toe close to the end near the metatarsal.  i wore the shoe for weeks.  it actually never felt exactly right from then on.  i saw another doctor that put me back in a shoe and also had me wearing

See below: It sounds like the toe never healed or did not heal in proper position.  My need surgery to align the bone or remove a section of bone.
