i have been having some pain in my ankle , there is also discoloration in my right leg (near calf) , ankle, and foot. the pain is off and on and sometimes i will get a throbbing pain or dull achy pain. what makes it worse is that i bruise easily now?

: You should see your family doctor. Your symptoms as described, are vague and unrelated.  I would not wait. You did not mention if you smoke or not ?

Easy to tell: Whoever checked your fibrinogen for whatever reason would have done a blood count. In leukemia at your age, this is always very abnormal, usually with bizarre cells. Without hard findings on physical exam, I suspect you are paying to much attention to the minor discomforts of ordinary life. Work hard, make friends, develop your abilities on a career path, stay cheerful

recent(2 in 6 mths)cbc results show, low mchc(31.4) and low  mpv(8.7), low gran #% & neu% and high eos%. sym: fatigue, joint inflammation, ab vaginal spotting and bruise easily (pants seam left bruise on leg).  pcp not concerned, should i get 2nd op?

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have helped had you provided all the results, not high and low. If you are not satisfied with your doctor, it is  appropriate to get a second opinion.

Clotting problems: Bruising occurs when fragile capillaries in the skin are damaged, allowing blood to leak from them.  Normally, cells called platelets are stimulated to clot and minimize this leakage, by a number of complex mechanisms.  Any problem with this process can be responsible for excessive bruising.

: Lymphedema is not always painful. It is more uncomfortable when the lymphedema areas are bigger. If there is obesity, weight loss is helpful. If it is not clear if the areas are lymphedema, have it evaluated by your doctor. Good luck to you!
