A member asked:

Why do i bruise easily? i can run into something and i always get a bruise. it doesn't hurt it just always shows up.

Clotting problems: Bruising occurs when fragile capillaries in the skin are damaged, allowing blood to leak from them. Normally, cells called platelets are stimulated to clot and minimize this leakage, by a number of complex mechanisms. Any problem with this process can be responsible for excessive bruising.
