Stiff neck: Amputation is probably the quickest but not the most desirable. Assuming this is not secondary to some other underlying process the use of warm packs, muscle relaxants and massage should benefit this. Seek medical attention if the stiff neck does not subside after one week and if neck stiffness is noted after a traumatic injury, or if there are additional signs or symptoms, particularly fever.

Usually several : Things can be done. Most back or neck issues get better within several weeks. Simple applications of heat or ice, massage, avoiding prolonged positions, avoiding overhead work, avoiding repetitive push/pull or heavy lifting while using otc meds as needed can help as long as no contraindications to using then.   If symptoms persist or worsen, then see your pcp or if you get any neurologic symptoms.

Maybe tension ache?: A common cause of this symptom is tension in the posterior neck muscles due to using a computer monitor or placing the head in an uncomfortable position for too long.  Is it worse when you move the head, or when someone touches the muscles?  If there has been no injury, it may not be due to the deeper structures, like the intervertebral discs.  Hard to tell based on this amount of information.

See the Doctor: Blurry vision is a serious sign when associated with pain. Temporal arteritis needs immediate attention to prevent blindness. Migraine complex can also cause these symptoms. Not to be diagnosed over the internet.

See a physician: Nothing against chiropractors but the rash and lymph nodes are not in their field of expertise and should be evaluated by a physician. If the chiropractor has been unable to help with the neck and shoulder discomfort i would take any imaging he/she has done and seek an opinion for an orthopedic doctor. Could be just soft tissue injury or maybe a small fracture. Please see an md for evaluation.

Ask her doctor: Viral meningitis presents with headache, sometimes sensitivity to light or sound, nausea, vomiting, fever, stiff neck, malaise, sometimes mental changes and the spinal fluid shows findings which are not compatible with bacterial meningitis. Your mom should get better fairly quickly and be back to full health soon, but if you have questions, ask her doctor.

Viral syndrome: It sounds as if you've picked up one of the several viruses that have been going around.  If you can keep fluids down and your fever under control, you should be fine.  If not, see your doctor.

See below: I would start with rest, heat, anti-inflammatories.  You can see your pcp who can add a muscle relaxer.  Try massage.  Gentle stretching may help.
