Indirectly yes: Because one tends not to brush / maintain proper oral hygiene due to the sensitivity - ones rushes through the sequence without giving the attention it deserves.  Sensitivity can also be the result of gum recession - roots being exposed and can lead to root caries.  Best to be seen by a dentist for a comprehensive exam / treatment recommendations. Sensedyne : They are the original desensitizing toothpaste and seem to me to still be the best.  Know that it is not a guarantee that you will not have sensitivity.  It hopefully with reduce it for you though.  It may take a little time of use to do it too.

been having symptoms of gas, mild cramping, lower backaches, pulling on right side, sensitive teeth, exhaustion... among many others. preg. possibly?

sensitive teeth on top left. did xray on that side and cold test on those teeth affected. there is no infection but an old filling is on a nerve. i don't have insurance until march. is there really harm in waiting to do the root canal in my case?

: The downside is that the tooth may become infected and need treatment before March. If so, you'll need treatment sooner than later.

See your GP: You symptoms indicate more than one possibility.  How long has it been since your last Physical?  Also see your Dentist to evaluate tooth sensitivity.  May or may not be related to other symptoms.

my mouth has been hurting recently, and i have never had a cavity. but i have always had sensitive teeth and have always grinded them in my sleep. my dentist has showed any concern about either though. could either of those be causing my tooth pain?

Certainly: Carious lesions can cause pain, but only in one tooth or on the affected quadrant. If all of your teeth hurt, then it would be something common to all of the teeth, such as periodontal issues (doubtful at your age), clenchng/grinding (bruxism), or a malocclusion (crooked teeth). Sinus issues can cause pain in your maxillary dentition.

Pain and swelling: Signs of inflammation, probably due to infection.  Please see y9our Dentist as soon as possible for an evaluation.  Referral to a gum specialist, a Periodontist, may be in order depending on the severity of the infection.

Topical  flurides: There are many products designed to treat the most common cause of sensitive teeth.-teeth that are sensitive from wear and acid erosion.      Toothpastes like sensodyne if used correctly can decrease sensitivity  but it takes a couple weeks and you have to apply it correctly.  .  Also there are some Fluoride mouthwashes that are designed to treat tooth sensitivity.  Have a dentist check for decay.
