Has it been: medically evaluated. This can't be diagnosed with the information that is available. A history, physical examination &amp; other studies may be needed to determine cause/causes. Once accurately assessed a treatment plan can be developed.

: Your symptoms suggest that you might have herpes zoster infection (shingles), especially you did not receive varicella vaccine in childhood and you had chicken pox when you were young.
You need to see a doctor right away because you should receive antiviral treatment if herpes zoster infection is confirmed.

i develop an itchy scalp every few days. it seems like dandruff - when i rub i can see small white things falling off. when i wash my hair with shampoo, i have to rub my scalp with a towel to get rid of the flakes. what could it be? in my ear as well?

: Dandruff is a mild form of seborrheic dermatitis. When there's involvement of facial areas,including ears, a more moderate degree of seborrheic dermatitis is present. For best treatment &amp; follow-up care a dermatologist is best to consult. You could try an antidandruff shampoo which your pharmacist can recommend.

my inner ear is itchy & block theres this dark greyish fluid i find on the piece of cotton  wool that i put in my ear to keep it dry since it help with the itching. i saw a doctor who gave me wax softening drops & it went away but 1 week later is bak?

Avoid immersion : Keep these ear dry and clean,avoid immersion in water, discuss a topicotic antibiotic drops.

is it normal to still feel a scratchy throat and discomfort in my ear even after finishing my z-pak treatment? i am feeling much better than i did five days ago. however, there seem to be some leftover symptoms. should i give it more time?

: You may need a second round of treatment, but only your Physician can make this decision for you. If there is presence of harmful bacteria additional antibiotics may be required. If symptoms cased by viral infection, antibiotics will not cure. Call your Doc.

Itchy outer ear: Hello. Using cold compresses to the ear will immediately help to reduce ear itching and redness. Using a steroid cream on a 2x/day for no longer than 14 days will help to resolve the itching. Also a medication like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will resolve the itching rather quickly.

Find out why: Itchy ears can be from allergies, problems in the ear, wax or a number other causes.  An ENT can look in your ear and offer options on whether you could benefit from wax removal vs medication vs should do nothing about it.  Whatever you do, please don't stick anything  into the er canal to try to scratch it since you can do real harm to yourself.
