i have had scoliosis surgery back in 1991, for the past few years i suffer from severe pain in the  buttocks. i go for pain mana i take neurontin (gabapentin) 300mg 3x a day and have been getting pain management and neither works

Buttock : Buttock pain is often caused by sacroiliitis.  This is common after lumbar fusion.  Sacroilitis can be treated by steroid joint injections, burning the nerves over the sacroiliac joint and sacroiliac joint fusion.  I would recommend seeing spine surgeon for further treatment in injections and nerve burning has not helped.  Good luck!

6 to 8 hours: The time is variable and depends on the number of vertebra involved, the degree of curvature and associated developmental deformities and the surgical techinque used to correct the deformity. The length of time that surgery takes is important, but performing the  procedure in an efficient and proficient manner is of the upmost important.

6 weeks: First and foremost  you should talk to your surgeon regarding this matter. At the 2006 scoliosis reseach society per-meeting course, dr. John sarwark presented a chart for resuming activities following surgery and the recommendation for adults resuming sex was at 6 weeks. Again though you should check with your surgeon regarding his guidelines.

: Veins are left behind after varicocelectomy but are not connected to the rest of the body. These may have some minor tenderness in your case. Your urologist can evaluate and advise you best.

Possible hernia?: Sounds like you may have a hernia, which is a general term for the protrusion of an organ through a cavity. 

Most commonly after an abdominal surgery a portion of your bowel may protrude through your abdomen.  Rarely, this can be a surgical emergency if the bowel becomes trapped.

Can be: The nerves that innervate the feet come from the spine (back). You didn't describe what the "trouble was". Sometimes, this can be numbness or tingling. Also, if you are flatfooted this does put strain on the back so there could be a correlation that way as well.

Yes: It is not uncommon for hemorrhoids to relapse.

Sinus cysts: See your surgeon. Often cysts in the sinus do not require surgery, but only your surgeon can advise you on this. If you are not sure about the answer s/he gives you, you can always get a second opinion from another qualified surgeon. Each case is individual and some cysts do become a focus of infection, even though many are not clinically important.
