Possible hernia?: Sounds like you may have a hernia, which is a general term for the protrusion of an organ through a cavity. Most commonly after an abdominal surgery a portion of your bowel may protrude through your abdomen. Rarely, this can be a surgical emergency if the bowel becomes trapped. If you have pain and rebound see a doctor today.
