Ovarian symptoms: First, this may not be your ovary you are feeling. Secondly, if it is there may be PID again, an ovarian cyst, scarring from prior inflammation producing changes in the ovary or fallopian tube, and so on and so on. The best thing is to see a gynecologist and be evaluated. Good luck.

Discuss with gyne: After any abdominal odor pelvic surgery, it is not uncommon to form adhesions or scar tissue even in areas that were not directly operated upon. In many instances, this resolves but in other instances it may persist. I would recommend that you  continue close followup with your surgeon.

i had a laparoscopy done june 7th 2013 and the doctor found scar tissue on both ovaries but did not remove it. why wasn't it removed?

Scar is old: You had a diagnostic laparoscopy for pain on june 7 2013.  The doctor found scar tissue on the ovaries but did not remove the scar tissue because it would cause more damage to the ovaries.  The scar tissue could be from previous infections or inflammation.  The laparoscopy also allowed your doctor to look for infection or inflammation from the bowel.

i have had surgery on my appendix and then found out i had a lot of scar tissue on my ovaries due to p.i.d will this stop me from conceiving?

It may. : You may have difficulty getting pregnant, but it may not stop you from getting pregnant, you still have to use birth control. If you want to get pregnant and you can't, IVF ( in vitro fertilization ) may be an option.

Depends: It depends on what kind and cause of the scar tissue. You are young to have scar tissue. How do you know you have scar tissue. If you can give a little more information, i might be able to give you better advice.   Thanks.

i have had 3csections in 4years. i started having some shooting pains in my right ovary today. could it be from the scar tissue?

Ovary Pain: Without seeing exactly where your pain is, i would say no.  The ovaries are not operated on or manipulated or scarred by the common cesarean sections performed.  The scarring would be lower anterior in the abdomen.

Difficult: It is true that adhesions (scars) are common in pts who had previous surgeries and they give weird abdominal symptoms. Other conditions should be ruled out like colonic disorders, bladder/urinary symptoms. Let your drs evaluate you.

No: Cyst or scar in the ovary should not affect your leg.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
