Check with dentist: Impossible to answer without an examination. This could be anything from an infection, a wound, swollen taste buds, a buildup of plaque, a buildup of nicotine stain, geographic tongue, cancer, or nothing serious.

You can't: It is the way your tongue has developed and there is no way to get rid of it without significant surgery.  The healing would be very painful and it may not cure the problem.

Tongue lesion: You will need to see a doctor or dentist for examination to make a specific diagnosis.   This should be urgently if unwell/fevers/swallowing troubles.

Maybe a sign: Pain usually means you have issues that needs attention and should not be ignored.  Please find a local dentist to help you, the pain or discomfort will likely get worse till you do.

i did a rapid hiv antibody test at a lab blood was drawn from my vein abt 4+ months from my exposure it was negative. but i have been having white and rough tongue when i brush it goes off i also had klebsiella n irritation in my thoart why is that?

: Your HIV tests are conclusive and prove you do not have HIV, no matter what symptoms you have now or might develop in the future. Neither white tongue nor Klebsiella in the throat suggest HIV or any other immune deficiency. See a doctor if they continue and/or you remain concerned, but you can stop worrying about HIV, no matter what HIV risks you might have experienced.

yes: The tongue has taste buds or papillae that are used to sense sweet, sour, salt bitter and umami.  The ones in the back or base of the tongue are called circumvallate or vallate papillae and are responsible for bitter.

See an Oral Surgeon: You should see an oral surgeon to evaluate that area on your tongue.  It might be something benign that does not need treatment or it might require a biopsy to determine exactly what it is.  Even benign lesions can lead to more serious lesions and therefore warrants a definitive diagnosis as soon as possible.

TONGUE: There are a lot of unknowns here- medical history,( are you healthy or on medications for something) dental history-( have you had a lot of dental work) social history( tobacco/ alcohol usage), parafunction- (do you put things in your mouth , like pens)   , as i said,  a lot of unknowns, best bet is to call your dentist or oral surgeon tomorrow.

Unlikely: If you are smoker, tobacco chewer, etc, you may have precancerous leukoplakia or similar.
SEE THE DENTIST!

Have it evaluated: Any lesion like that that has not resolved on its own in a two to three week period should be examined. See a local oral surgeon for guidance.
