: A delta wave is something seen in WPW syndrome which is very basically an electrical pathway in the conduction system of the heart that can cause an abnormally fast hear rate. There is no emergency but have the ECG evaluated by a cardiologist.

what does borderline mean in borderline right axis deviation? went in for heart attack symptoms and got sent home saying everything looked perfect. just saw this on my online ecg report and the doctor did not say anything about this?

: This is typically the result of the placement of the leads on your chest. If the EKG is repeated and this finding is absent, that is the likely explanation. If it continues to report this, see a cardiologist and get an echocardiogram to see if the right ventricle is enlarged as this could cause a right axis deviation. Borderline means it does not meet all the criteria for the diagnosis.

i went for an ecg test and got a referral letter from the doctor to see a cardioligist. the ecg test said moderate st depression, moderate right axis deviation and abnormal qrs-t angle. i am on the evra patch. could this be the reason its abnormal?

ST depression: ? old EKG for comparison? EVRA not the cause. Moderate ST depression is a nonspecific finding &amp;could be caused by old viral infection. Coronary artery disease would be unlikely at your age.
Right axis deviation is common in young people. Abnormal QRS- T angle is nonspecific T wave abnormality. The cardiologist will examine your heart, order echocardiogram and lipid panel. I'm optimistic about you.

Arrhythmia : You are describing abnormal cardiac electrical conduction. This needs prompt evaluation by a cardiologist. Call 911 if dizzy, short of breath or having chest pain.

Further work up: You need further work up including at least  a  chest X ray and an echocardiogram (heart ultrasound). Your heart rate should not be so fast especially at rest, and a right axis is not the usual form. Important to exclude potentially dangerous conditions like a pulmonary embolus or other cardiac conditions. All the best to you!

No-variant of normal: &amp;, more important, likely quite healthy, especially if young &amp; slender. A higher value variable to look at is the QRS duration, ideally &lt;80 ms (less than two mm width of QRS wave) which is the speed of the electrical signal to spread throughout both ventricles (as viewed from the surface EKG recording) &amp; reflects healthy muscle without fibrosis. Yet QRS usually not called abnormal until &gt;120 ms.
