Bandage: The gauze often adheres to dried blood making it difficult to remove.  You may try soaking the gauze with hydrogen peroxide for several minutes before trying to unwrap it. If this is unsuccessful, apply neosporin ointment to the gauze and try again in several hours.

Try this: First of all, that scab is there protecting the wound from chemicals, dust an bacteria, so the best thing you can do is leave it there until it falls off itself. If you need to remove it anyway try using peroxide to soften the scab and the scar itself. It is important to let the healing process finish itself to avoid having scar or discoloration on the skin.
