Normal part of heali: After any surgery there is inflammation which means fresh blood and fighting white cells go to the area and help things heal. The fluids they bring with them leak out of the incision as it heals and get on the dressing. Exposure to air turn them colors which is meaningless the localized redness is also a sign of inflammation which is important to healing.
