i had my hernia repaired on feb.4 everything looks fine but my left side looks indented if i move in a certain position it is extremely painful.why?

Suture: If this is near the hernia repair site, it could be due to a suture tethering connective tissue under the skin. It should go back to a normal contour within 6 months. If it doesn't, and it is bothersome, your surgeon can fix it. You should see your surgeon to be sure. Glad you're doing we'll overall.

i have an hernia to the left side of my scrotum, when lifting at work it has started to get realy painful expecially at night. what should i do?

Surgical Repair: An inguinal hernia in a young person, especially when causing symptoms, needs to be repaired surgically: inguinal herniorrhaphy. The risks of any hernia are incarceration or strangulation of the contents of a hernia which is usually a segment of your small bowel which is an emergency situation. Best to have hernia repaired before this type of problem occurs. Recommend see a general surgeon soon.

i've just been diagnoised with inagual hernia on right side and lipoma of spermatic cord on left, doc says not to worry but it is painful,?

Painful hernia.: Usually they both could be monitored as long as remains asymptomatic, If gets painful,  it may need an intervention and correction.

See a surgeon: If you truly have a hernia it sounds as if it may need surgical correction.   Do this quickly.  A viscus may become entrapped in the hernia and create a potentially life-threatening situation.  Hope you improve quickly.

Inguinal hernia: I think your doctor should evaluate the hernia explain the situation and it's complications . However now a days there is laparoscopic hernia repair. Small cut, short procedure time and fast recovery time. You may want to see general surgeon experience in laparoscopy. Good luck.

Hernias: Hernias are holes in the abdominal wall through which abdominal contents such as fat and intestines can protrude, causing a lump under the skin. I'm not sure what you mean exactly about the left side of your stomach, but hernias are  commonly seen in the groins, ; in the middle of the abdominal wall at or above the belly button. May be unrelated: Hernia & blood in stool may not be related. Unless the hernia is large & contains part of the colon, the hernia & rectal bleeding are not likely related. See a doctor. May have hemorrhoids. See a general surgeon about hernia repair.
